Safe and effective removal of skin blemishes.
What is it?
Minor skin blemishes - such as skin tags, cysts, lipomas and moles - can be a source of significant distress, especially when they are in a prominent location.
At our clinic, we offer a range of safe and effective surgical and non-surgical treatments to remove these lesions with minimal trauma. Our treatments include everything from electrocautery to formal excision, performed by experienced professionals.

How it works
All minor skin surgery treatments at our clinic begin with a full face-to-face surgical assessment with either Dr Richard Gordon or Dr Iain Innes.
During this confidential consultation, they will evaluate your blemish to determine if it is safe and suitable for treatment in our clinic setting.
We will then discuss the most appropriate treatment option for you, which may involve removal or biopsy. Dermoscopy to obtain a Consultant Dermatologist opinion is also an option (see below).
Should a lesion not be suitable for removal in a clinic environment, we will help you find the best pathway to care outwith our service. Your safety is our highest priority.
We have recently launched a dermoscopy service to complement our minor surgery services – see here for more information.

What to expect
The consultation: your journey begins with a confidential, no-obligation consultation with either Dr Richard Gordon or Dr Iain Innes. We will fully assess your lesion and discuss all your options. If you decide not to proceed, you will only be charged for this consultation. If you choose to go ahead with the treatment within six months, the consultation fee will be deducted from the total cost.
The procedure: the treatment itself is performed with the utmost care and precision to ensure minimal trauma and a quick, effective outcome. We will explain every step of the process to you, ensuring you feel relaxed and informed.
Recovery: we provide comprehensive aftercare, including dressings and follow-up appointments if required. We will also handle the removal of stitches, ensuring you are cared for by our team throughout the entire recovery process all at no additional cost.
